Cancel your event with text message notifications

If you’ve planned an event before you’ll know that there are a lot of moving parts with any type of event. The caterer, decorating, chairs, tables, DJ, lighting, the list goes on and on. Usually if there’s a decorating or chair malfunction, it can be resolved without too much stress or effort. Unfortunately there are certain things that can be catastrophic enough that you need to cancel the event altogether. Things like inclement weather, power outages, or even a death in the family.

If one of these unlikely circumstances does happen, Replied App has you covered. Cancelling your event is as easy as the click of a button!

You can also include the cancellation reason if you choose to. If it’s personal and you don’t want to share with your guests you can just type “NA” into the cancellation reason box.

Unfortunately enough, some of our users have had to cancel their events due to bad circumstances, so based on their feedback we built the text message cancellation feature for you!

How to cancel your event with text message notifications:

  1. Navigate to your RSVP page
  2. On the top right of the screen, click the “Send Cancellation Texts”
  3. In the dialog, type your cancellation reason into the box or type “NA” then click “Send Cancellation Texts Now”
  4. That’s it! Your guests will immediately be notified that your event has been cancelled
